The Cubs have agreed to a deal with free-agent right-hander Michael Fulmer, according to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal. The club has not confirmed.
Fulmer split last season with the Tigers and Twins after he was dealt to the Minnesota at the Trade Deadline for Minor League righty Sawyer Gipson-Long.
Working out of the bullpen last year, Fulmer recorded a 3.39 ERA with 61 strikeouts over 63 2/3 innings.
